Xeinadin, a leading provider of accountancy services and business advice for small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals across the UK and Ireland, has announced the acquisition of Gregory Priestley & Stewart (GP&S). The Long Eaton-based practice is known for its strong client relationships, loyal team and specialist support for owner-managed businesses across the Midlands and beyond.

GP&S supports a client portfolio spanning engineering businesses to international travel operators, reflecting a broad and growing mix of ambitious SMEs. With specialisms across taxation, audit, secretarial services, corporate finance, payroll, VAT and business consultancy, GP&S also brings established expertise in sectors such as construction, audiology, property, education and cross-border ownership structures.

Derry Crowley, CEO of Xeinadin, commented: “GP&S is exactly the kind of practice we want to bring into Xeinadin. Respected locally, rooted in relationships, and actively advising clients on how to grow and adapt. Their strong presence in the Midlands and cross-sector experience strengthens our presence in the region and our ability to support SMEs across the UK with advice that’s both expert and personal.”

Peter Stewart, partner at GP&S, added: “We’ve built GP&S on long-standing client relationships, many of our clients have worked with us for decades, and a shared sense of responsibility across our team. In joining Xeinadin, we’re gaining access to additional resources, expertise and support we need to take the business forward, without losing what makes us who we are. It’s already making a difference, and our clients and team will only benefit further as part of the wider team.”

GP&S has also developed a reputation for staff loyalty and continuity, with an average employee tenure of 15 years and a close-knit team of 22, many of whom have been with the firm for decades.

Carl Danvers, Area Managing Partner at Xeinadin, also added: Peter, Pierre and the team reflect the people-first approach we look for at Xeinadin. This move marks a natural next step in the practice’s growth, and we’re looking forward to working closely with them as they thrive in this new chapter.”

Clients will gain immediate access to Xeinadin’s specialist advisory services while continuing to work with the local team. GP&S joining Xeinadin reflects a commitment to supporting long-term growth, succession and resilience.
