AISMA members

Our senior medical leaders are members of the Association of Independent Specialist Medical Accountants (AISMA – to be a member you have to prove consistently high standards and look after at least 15 GP Surgeries) – this allows our clients to benefit not only from the considerable experience and expertise of our leaders, but also from their ability to access the national forums and expertise from other specialist accountants nationally.

Ask our medical specialists about our quarterly AISMA newsletter, and other specialist medical handouts available to you. Probably most importantly, ask our AISMA members about our benchmarking statistics service to allow you to compare your performance against other surgeries in your local area.

Our preferred way of working with GP Surgeries

We prefer to agree budgets and forecasts with practice managers/finance leads at the beginning of the financial year, having previously agreed the appropriate chart of accounts for the surgery.

Every quarter we welcome the chance for a  catch up call/meeting  and review of the Surgery’s management information to ensure nothing is happening that needs management action.

This allows us to plan your tax and superannuation payments for January and July and allows you to better manage your cash flow, with no surprises emerging in the year end accounts.

No surprise fixed fee policy

We agree fees for the year ahead with our clients and these are fixed to carry out specific assignments.

Should additional work ever be required, any new fees will be agreed in advance with our clients, so you never have to worry about a “ticking clock and surprise fees”.
