Xeinadin Head of Tax Advisory (UK North & Midlands) Adam Owens has been featured in The Telegraph’s latest article, examining the impact of the rumoured tax raid on roughly 190,000 people working within limited liability partnerships.
Adam explains that this would have a much bigger impact on smaller accountancy firms and legal practices rather than big organisations.
Adam believes the cost won’t sit quietly on balance sheets but will be passed on to clients, patients or absorbed through reduced investment and early partner exits. Adam commented: “This is another example of a reactive tax policy that may play well politically but chips away at long-term business confidence.”
